Background
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) works to strengthen international action against illicit drug production, trafficking and abuse. The UNODC ROCA is based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with Programme Offices in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. Its activities address the impact that drugs and crime have on the overall development situation in the region. By operating and ensuring project implementation of country offices, the regional initiatives can incorporate analysis and strategies from the national level.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall supervision of the UNODC ROCA Operations Manager and direct supervision of the Administrative Clerk (custodian), the incumbent will be responsible for:
- Perform cleaning functions as required, including washing, sweeping, dusting, vacuum cleaning;
- Clean surfaces, including floors, furniture, walls, doors, windows, carpets;
- Empty and clean waste-paper baskets;
- Keep office rooms, toilets clean and hygienic;
- Maintain and clean all cleaning equipment utilized;
- A high standard of hygiene should be always maintained;
- Backstop Gardener in sweeping, cleaning office territory and watering of office yard when it is required;
- Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience
Good knowledge of Russian, basic English.
