Background
Effective Recruitment is a critical enabler of corporate performance as it enhances the organization’s ability to deliver results and respond flexibly and promptly to emerging development challenges and opportunities. Each recruitment process and decision represents a major investment of organizational resources and is a direct reflection on the organization’s reputation. Each appointment affects the performance of offices and defines UNDP’S credibility with stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Takes objective and clear notes for up to 3-4 interviews per day identifying strengths and weakness of candidates as measured against articulated competencies;
- In consultation with the OHR representative on the interview panel, drafts the interview report in a concise and fluent manner;
- Prepares the interview report on a standard template the same day, when possible and edits the interview report as required in consultation with the Human Resources focal point within the hiring unit;
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelors degree in relevant discipline. Masters degree an asset.
Experience:
- Excellent writing skills.
- Familiarity with UN competency-based interviewing highly desirable.
- Understanding of the UN context a distinct advantage.
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft word.
Language:
- Full fluency in written and spoken English.
