Background

“The World We Want 2015” is an innovative online platform for curating global conversations on post-2015. Feeding into the post-2015 discussions, the “World We Want” platform steers discussions on the post-2015 agenda and enhances civil society’s participation to make sure that peoples’ voices are taken into consideration when drafting the new development agenda. It is a unique online space that applies innovative techniques to data-mining and visualization, thereby displaying data in people friendly format. The World We Want 2015 Platform hosts the UN and civil society official open consultation for post-2015 and it is a space that consolidates civil society input to policy-making. Led by the Policy Strategy Group for WWW201, formed by various civil society organizations and UN institutions, the platform is facilitated by UNDG and managed by UNMC on their behalf.
