Background
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Pooled Fund Manager and also the Head of Office, the National Humanitarian Financing Officer (NHFO) support the activities as per the responsibilities highlighted below and also other related activities of the Emergency Response Fund (ERF) unit. The incumbent works very closely with OCHA Turkey Operations Unit.

Required Skills and Experience
Education | Advanced (Masters) University Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business or Public Administration or Social Sciences, or a professional accounting qualification from an internationally recognized institute of accountancy. Professionally qualified accountants from an internationally recognized institute of accountancy will have a distinct advantage. |
Experience: | Up to 2 years of relevant experience in providing financial and project management, administration or procurement services, Control of accounts and ERF reports, facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems and ERP financials, preferably PeopleSoft.
