Background

Scope of Work: To work on the yearly assets physical inventory, project old vehicles plate numbers, transferring assets of the closed projects, moving archives and furniture from Yempac to the new villa basement, supervise the contractor who will fix the archives metal shelves, sorting and organizing the programme and administration files and the furniture in the villa basement. Also  to follow up with government departments counterparts and projects coordinators on the issue of vehicles plate numbers and helps in transferring assets for closed projects to the related government departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Yearly assets physical inventory exercise for the office and UNDP projects;
  • Finalize all modifications/corrections needed on the assets management in service report for the year end submission in cooperation with Assets Management Focal Point;
  • Follow up with the government counterparts and projects coordinators on the old vehicles plate numbers that are still recorded under the custody of UNDP;
  • Help in transferring assets for closed projects to the related government departments;
  • Moves the office archives and other furniture (including the metal shelves) from Yempac warehouse to the new villa beside the main office;
  • Supervise the contractor who will fix the archives metal shelves at the villa basement;
  • Sort and organize the programme and administration files and to keep all in order on their respective shelves;
  • Receive/Organize the furniture received from Yempac warehouse on a specific room at the villa basement;

 Expected outputs and Deliverables:

Required Skills and Experience

Education:

  • Secondary Education;
  • Bachelor degree would be desirable;

Experience :

  • Secondary Education with  10 years’ experience in Logistics activities  or 5 years’ experience with Bachelor Degree;
  • Preference will be given to candidates who worked with UN agencies and have experience in the administration field and knowledge in UN rules & regulations). 

Language Requirement:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
