Required Skills and Experience
Academic Qualifications:
- A Master degree in Environmental Science, Marine Resources and Oceanography, Fisheries Sciences, Natural Sciences and Development Studies or relevant field.
Years of Experience:
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the relevant works is required;
- Extensive experience in fisheries and marine biodiversity, socio-economic of Timor-Leste;
- Strong knowledge and experience in project implementation and management;
- Expertise in Natural Resources Management and sustainable development particularly for Timor-Leste context;
- Strong networks amongst government, non-governmental organisations and local practitioners in sustainable management of natural resources;
- Experience in team-based, multidisciplinary, international research, and project management is a must;
- Computer literacy (word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint) is expected with statistical and or spatial analysis skills a plus;
- Proven track record of experience in community development, investment study and stakeholders consultation process.
- Ability to write project reports particularly for international funded Project by providing list of written projects in the previous years.
