Required Skills and Experience

Education:

Minimum a Master degree in disaster management/environmental science/natural resources management/geography/other related areas

Experience:

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in disaster management, working with government institutions at national and local level.
Language: proficient in English and BAHASA. Ability to write reports, develop presentation, and provide work paper for discussion.
Computer literate: experience in the usage of mathematical/statistical and spatial softwares, and office software packages.
Substantive experience in conducting trainings;
Experience in working with key stakeholders in disaster management areas particularly Government but also other relevant key stakeholders not limited to scientists, practitioners, universities, international organizations, NGOs and/or UN/UNDP.
