Background

Assigned to projects: Effective Social Delivery through Better Monitoring, IT Systems and Capacities

The project aims at improving the IT infrastructure to strengthen capacities for monitoring and implementation of social service provision and establish a stronger infrastructure for the service delivery models to be set up in the future. The project, with its monitoring perspective, will also provide inputs for the policy making process relating to the service areas of the MoFSP.

This project will consist of number of IT and Monitoring System related activities which include Hardware, Network, Software, Database, Training and MoFSP IT Department Staff Capacity Development activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Objectives of the assignment:

The project will be coordinated and implemented by a multi-disciplinary team at the MoFSP in Ankara. Duty –stationed within MoFSP premises in Ankara and under direct supervision of Project Administrator, the Network Operator will support the project team and the Ministry in implementation of the project work plan by providing technical support to project activities.

1. Provide daily operational support to users in network and communication infrastructure.

Troubleshooting and technical support on network related problems through various channels, including the phone, web based tools and email
Assist MoFSP on Network operations and any other related area.
Diagnoses and resolves a variety of basic data network problems.
Keep records in related areas.
Perform such other job-related duties as determined by the MoFSP

Reporting Structure

The Network Operator reports to Project Administrator.

Competencies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge on Network Management
Basic knowledge about TCP/IP
Knowledge about basic Firewall

Required Skills and Experience

Education:	High School Degree
Experience:	1 year of relevant working experience within IT sector (SB1)
Language requirements:	Fluent written and spoken Turkish
Computer skills:	N/A
Nationality:	Turkish
