Background

The AGORA Portal for Parliamentary Development (www.agora-parl.org) is an interactive knowledge hub that seeks to help parliamentarians, parliamentary staff and development practitioners access information, seek advice, and share and develop knowledge.  The AGORA partnership is jointly managed by UNDP, the World Bank Group, International IDEA and the National Democratic Institute, and is fully operational in English, French and Arabic.

AGORA (www.agora-parl.org) has developed an e-learning portal with a successful ‘Parliaments in Practice’ course.  This course was designed for first-time parliamentarians but is equally valuable to parliamentary staff, practitioners, civil society organisations and so on.  To maximise the further use of this course, AGORA would like to commission the development of a mobile app.  The app is meant to provide the full learning experience to mobile users, thereby strengthening AGORA’s outreach and ensuring optimal availability of its knowledge products among the target audience.
