Background

Under the guidance and supervision of the Programme Assistant, the Cleaning Services Aide provides reliable cleaning services.

The Cleaning Services Aide demonstrates a client-oriented approach, tact and ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clean offices of UNDP/SGP/MFF/EU GCCA+ as indicated by PA

  • Sweep and Mop all floors;
  • Ensure waste is collected from offices and disposed accordingly;
  • Polish the furniture;
  • Cleaning of toilets/other public areas such as corridor or meeting room as required and if necessary
  • Water plants;
  • Clean windows;
  • Any other duties as applicable.

Tasks and Deliverables

  • Effective provision of cleaning services for the assigned premises/space;
  • Maintenance of high hygiene and green office/premises environment;
  • Provision of beverages to the office staff and guests.

Required Skills and Experience

Education:

  • Primary education; secondary education desirable.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of work experience.

Language:

  • Good  knowledge of the national language of the duty station.
