Historique
Under the guidance of the Strategic Planning and Communications team, the intern works in coordinating the effort to collect all information related to projects and assisting in creating a UNDP China database of target/baseline/indicator.
The intern works in close collaboration with the Registry, Finance, Communications, and programme staff in the CO, focusing on Management reporting, Communications, Electronic archiving and Finance aspects of project management.
Devoirs et responsabilités
Work with the programme staff to collect project by project all the essential project documents (Project Document, Budget Revision, Annual Reviews, etc.), and store all of these documents in the centralized electronic archive; Subtract from all the project documents/Atlas system all indicators (targets/baseline) and create one central datable of all indicators; Assist the Communications Unit in collecting a one-pager per project in the form of “best practice”; Assist the Strategic Planning Unit in consolidation of financial and pipeline resources per project; Assist the Finance Unit in creating a clear overview of the Advances and Financial Reports frequently per project; Assist the Project Manager in getting an idea about the potential lessons learned from the project and as well South South or potential South South components in the project.
Compétences
A Master Student majored in or equivalent in business/public administration, accounting, finance, social science or related fields; Experience in usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems; Fluency in English and Chinese.
