- Strengthening of vaccine logistics and cold chain management in poor performing states through public-private partnerships and through improved human resource capacity, institutional strengthening and supportive supervision;
- Design and implementation of an eVIN that will enable real-time information on cold chain temperatures and vaccine stocks and flows;
- Increasing demand for RI through a national BCC strategy;
- Strengthening of the evidence base for improved policy-making (at all levels) in programmatic areas like procurement and vaccine delivery and on sequencing and adoption of new antigens;
- Leveraging the success of the NPSP to strengthen RI service delivery in 8 priority states.
Devoirs et responsabilités
- Provide secretarial assistance to the GAVI HSS Project Secretariat;
- Draft and type routine correspondence, making and responding to routine verbal/written enquiries;
- Assist the Secretariat Coordinator in handling of electronic mails, sending and receiving messages on electronic or other means of communications;
- Follow up on deadlines, commitments made, actions taken and coordination of collection and submission of the reports from the GAVI HSS grant implementing partners;
- Organize and systematize documentation and reference materials, including classifying and sorting important papers, locating new reference materials as required, and filing relevant papers, preparing abstracts of reports and maintaining proper record of important files;
- Provide necessary operational support for implementation secretariat functions and activities including organization of meetings and workshops and coordination in day to day activities; draft minutes of meeting and any other communication;
- Assist in collation and compilation of data and information from the concerned implementing partners;
- Provide back-up secretarial support for all activities in the Project implementation Team including assisting in making travel, logistic arrangements;
- Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications et expériences requises
- University Degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in administration or programme support service;
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- Fluency in spoken English and Hindi;
- Excellent written English skills.
