Deberes y responsabilidades
- Provision of interpretation into English/Russian and vice versa at bilateral and multilateral meetings, negotiations, conferences, workshops, seminars;
- Provision interpretation (English/Russian) for international staff during meetings with counterparts and field trips to project sites;
- Producing qualitative written Russian/English and vice versa translation of documents
- Interpretation provided at specific requests;
- Qualitative and timely delivery of translation services provided at specific requests.
Competencias
- Knowledge and practical experience with UNDP and/or other international organizations is an asset;
- Confidence to undertake oral translation and at training activities, high level meetings;
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills and ability to convey messages clearly, succinctly and accurately
- Ability to think clearly and precisely articulate.
Habilidades y experiencia requeridas
- University Degree in foreign languages
- Fluency in spoken and written Russian/Belarusian/English;
- A minimum of 3 years progressive experience in translating /interpreting preferably for a donor funded technical assistance project or at governmental or international organizations level;
- Experience in communicating and cooperating with governmental, non-governmental, donors and private agencies is an asset;
- Good knowledge of computer applications.

The candidates will be evaluated based on the following methodology:
Cumulative analysisWhen using this weighted scoring method, the award of the contract should be made to the individual consultant whose offer received the highest score out of a pre-determined set of weighted technical and financial criteria:
Total score=Technical Score + Financial Score
Example
* Technical Criteria weight; [70%], maximum 700 points
* Financial Criteria weight; [30%], maximum 300 points
All the offers of individual consultants who scored 490 (70% from 700) and more points during the desk review/interview are acceptable for financial evaluation. The lowest technically qualified proposal receives 300 points and all the other technically qualified proposals receive points in inverse proportion according to the formula:
P=Y*(L/Z), where
P=points for the financial proposal being evaluated
Y=maximum number of points for the financial proposal
L= price of the lowest price proposal
Z=price of the proposal being evaluated
