I. Organizational Context

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a United Nations agency which provides technical assistance in Indonesia.
Under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative and direct supervision of the A-FAOR (Admin), the Driver will perform the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities

II. Functions / Key Results Expected

Summary of key functions:

Drive the official car of the FAOR;
Maintain the log book for the vehicle and provide a summary of all vehicle movements at the end of each month;
Be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, checks oil, water battery, brakes, tires, etc;
Performs minor repair and arranges for other repairs and ensures that the vehicle is kept clean;
Monitor the status of the vehicle and report mechanical problems as soon as they have been noticed;
Ensure that the vehicle follows a strict routine maintenance schedule;
Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean;
Ensure that the vehicle is parked only in a safe area;
Available for working outside of Jakarta and working flexible hours;
Inform A-FAOR (Admin) of the status of the registration and licensing of the vehicle;
Supervise and ensure that records and maintenance is done by other drivers;
Carry out tasks for production and photocopying, clipping, collating, etc;
Perform other duties as and when assigned by FAOR or A-FAOR (Admin).

Required Skills and Experience

V. Recruitment Qualifications

Qualification:?

Secondary school
Possess a valid Indonesian driver?s license;

Experience:?

At least five years experience of professional driving for a company, other UN Agencies, NGOs;

Language Requirements:?

?Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
