POST DESCRIPTION:  ANALYST,  ATLAS SECURITY

Under the supervision of the Specialist, Atlas Security, the incumbent will serve as Tier1 and Tier 2 Technical Support for PeopleSoft Security. Candidate shall provide prompt, efficient problem resolution and excellent customer support for ATLAS (PeopleSoft ERP Application).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides Tier 1 and 2 Security technical support, working with ATLAS Help Desk team to ensure optimum response on a timely basis;
  • Provides clear and frequent updates to ATLAS Help Desk and ATLAS Access Requestor regarding resolution status for ATLAS Security issues;
  • Remains current on ATLAS Security issues and solutions for PeopleSoft products which are received via CRM (Client Resource Management) and ATLAS Security email;
  • Works closely with ATLAS Development Team to test Security enhancements made to ATLAS ensuring correct functionality of the changes;
  • Ensures that ALTAS Financials/HR Applications are configured accurately, following UNDP’s Internal Control Framework;
  • Provides Tier 1 and 2 Security technical support, working with ATLAS Help Desk team to ensure optimum response on a timely basis;

Required Skills and Experience

Education

  • Masters in Computer Science or Engineering or Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s in Information Systems or Computer Science with 4 years direct relevant experience.

Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in PeopleSoft security;
  • Working Knowledge of SQL Statements is a must;
  • Good understand of functional and technical aspects security controls within an enterprise environment;
  • Good communication and organizational skills;
  • Must have working knowledge of conceptual architectures for ERP implementations and their impact on security.

Language

  • Fluent in English is required.  Working knowledge of other UN languages is an asset
