UNDP Egypt deploy this support through the below main five functional areas:
UNDP Egypt is seeking to select interns interested in developing their knowledge and contributing in the above functional areas. The Policy and Partnerships team works closely with Egypt institutions, including the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MoPED) on evidence-based and national-level policy initiatives. These include but are not limited to work on mainstreaming, accelerating and policy support related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting the development of Egypt’s Human Development Report, and contributing to the wealth of policy support on financing for development. The Policy and Partnerships team also works with other specialized Programmes within UNDP to support them with their outreach, resource mobilization efforts and expansion on partnerships with government partners, private sector, and civil service organizations.

Required Skills and Experience |
|
Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements: a) Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher); b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent); c) Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation; d) Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program. |
