Devoirs et responsabilités

The overall objective of the consultancy is to: 1) assess the feasibility of the establishment of the destruction facilities in the Republic of Armenia containing the list of recommended destruction technologies of EOL ODS and HFC; 2) identify the actions to be taken for improving capacities for environmentally friendly management and destruction of ODS and HFC banks.

Qualifications et expériences requises

Academic Qualifications:

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Environmental Management, Environmental sciences, Climate Change or other related fields is required.

Years of experience:

  • At least 7 years of professional experience with developing climate change policies and projects on the international level,
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in projects related to the destruction and destruction technologies of ozone depleting substances and hydrofluorocarbons.
  • Proven experience concerning the instruments of the Montreal Protocol and Vienna Convention and international organizations.
  • Practical experience in EU related legislation. 

Language:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
