The Resources Management and Operations team of UN Women ROAP comprises of finance, human resources, ICT, procurement, administration and resources management, providing operational support and advice to ROAP management and programme teams as well as M/COs and Project Offices in the Asia and the Pacific region.
Under the overall guidance of the Chief, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), the direct supervision of the Regional Operations Manager and ICT Associate, the ICT Assistant provides ICT supports and services, implements ICT management systems and strategies, provides daily technical support to users of information management tools and technology infrastructure. The incumbent is responsible for review and advice on the use of new technologies that will enhance the RO productivity. The ICT Support Assistant promotes a client-oriented approach.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Implement ICT strategies and new technologies in accordance with corporate information management and technology standards, guidelines and procedures.?
2. Ensure effective functioning of the ROAP and Project Offices hardware and software.
3. Ensure efficient networks administration.
4. Provide web management services.
5.Provide administrative support regarding ICT issues including assets related to ICT.
6.Provide technical support and advice to ROAP and Programme Presence staff.
7.Facilitate knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the Regional Office and Project Presence
