Background Information

Uzbekistan among five Central Asian Countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) with the support of the international donor community has worked toward sustainable land management and reverse land degradation – through the Central Asian Countries Initiative for Land Management (CACILM). CACILM’s goal is to restore. Maintain and enhance the productive functions of land in Central Asia (CA), leading to improved economic and social well-being of those who depend on these resources. The goal is achieved through implementation of measures and interventions reflected in National Programming Framework (NPF) developed in each CA country. This project is one of the multi-country level activities on CACILM implementation which aims capacity building to support the Central Asian Countries’ efforts to halt land degradation by enhancing the capability of each nation to execute their NPFs

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the cleaner will perform the following duties
1. Performs cleaning functions as required, including washing, sweeping, dusting, vacuum-cleaning and polishing.
2. Cleaning surfaces, including floors, furniture, walls, doors, windows, carpets etc.; empties and cleans waste paper baskets;
3. Keeps office rooms, kitchen and toilet clean and hygienic;
4. Keeps all cleaning equipments in closed small storage and in good working condition for further duties;
5. Ensures daily cleaned environment and bear full responsibility for quality of cleaning;
Perform other duties as required.

Good communication skills, client-orientation, honesty and ability to work in a team

Required Skills and Experience


Education: Secondary education

Experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience

Language Requirements: Proficiency in Uzbek and Russian, basic knowledge of English
