UNDP Indonesia's mission is to be an agent for change in the human and social development of Indonesia. We aim to be a bridge between Indonesia and all donors as well as a trusted partner to all stakeholders. We work in four key areas of development: Governance Reforms, Pro-Poor Policy Reforms, Conflict Prevention and Recovery, and Environment Management, with the overarching aim of reducing poverty in Indonesia. Besides the four priority areas, UNDP Indonesia is also engaged in a variety of crosscutting initiatives focused on HIV/AIDS, gender equality, and information and technology for development. I. Organizational Context Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Head of Office, the Information Management Associate provides information management services, implements ICT management systems and strategies, provides daily technical support to users of information management tools and technology infrastructure. The Information Management Associate promotes a client-oriented approach. The Information Management Associate works in close collaboration with the HC/OCHA Information Unit Office, government counterparts, OCHA ROAP (Regional Office for the Asia and Pacific) in Bangkok and OCHA HQ staff for resolving complex ICT-related issues, collaborates with UN ICT Officers.

Duties and Responsibilities |

II. Functions / Key Results Expected Summary of key functions: The Information Management Associate will be expected to assist the HC/OCHA Information Unit to implement OCHA’s Field Information Management Strategy under direct supervision of Head of Office;
Develop and maintain a client-oriented approach with all relevant stakeholders to help identify their information requirements to support humanitarian operations and coordination role of the RC/HC, OCHA and government focusing on achievement of the following results:
2. Designing and implementing a structured dissemination plan for all information products and services (e.g. reports, maps, data) through, for example, hard copy, stand alone executable programmed, CD-ROMS and websites, focusing on achievement of the following results:
4. Supervise the IT Assistant in technical assistance in the establishment and updating of OCHA Indonesia’s Website;
The key results have an impact on the overall UN coordination role and success in implementation of partnership strategies. Accurate analysis on data management to ensure effective and efficient efforts on disaster management of OCHA in collaboration with other stakeholders. Timely and appropriate delivery of services ensure overall timely delivery of OCHA activities.
