For this reason, UNDP is seeking a consultant to support the CBCMs preparatory work, including supporting the IASC Task Force on related activities.
Devoirs et responsabilités
In preparation for developing the CBCMs in the three pilot locations, the consultant is requested to:
- Identify coordination structures and agency lead in each location.
- Summarize/identify previous work on CBCMs/feedback mechanisms in each location.
- Identify coordination structures and focal points in each location.
- Co-ordinate co-funding of proposal.
- Draft MoU for participating agencies on roles and responsibilities (both for financial management of proposal and implementation).
- Draft ToR for field and global coordinators.
- Support SCUK in recruitment of coordinators.
- Coordinate joint efforts with the sub-cluster group Accountability to Affected Populations;
- Identify other PSEA activities in need for implementation and seek funding and;
- Support Task Force in drafting article for the Humanitarian Exchange;
- Any other task as requested.
Compétences
- Excellent knowledge of the subject of “Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by UN and related personnel”.
- Excellent communications skills (with focus on written communication skills).
- Excellent coordination skills whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer skills, including the use of Excel.
- Good communication skills with a marked sense of team work and shared responsibility;
Qualifications et expériences requises
- Masters degree in Gender Studies, Human Rights, Development Studies or similar experience in this area of work can compensate for the MA.
Experience:
- Experience in working on “Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by UN and related personnel” or related subject matter such as Sexual Gender Based Violence for a minimum of two years.
- Experience of inter-agency work within the UN/NGO system and knowledgeable of coordination structures at field level among humanitarian, peacekeeping and development actors.
- Preferably knowledge of complaints handling and mechanisms for misconduct.
Language:
- Fluency in oral and written English is a must; French an asset.
