Historique
The work of UNDP’s in Thailand is to help create the policy and institutional environment necessary for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). In addition, UNDP supports Thailand's efforts to disseminate its development knowledge and expertise beyond its borders.
UNDP’s work in Thailand can be divided into five broad thematic areas which are environmental-sustainable development, responsive governance, international partnership for development, millennium development goals and HIV/AIDS.
Devoirs et responsabilités
The intern will assist the team in coordinating roles with the scope of work as described below:
- Provide backstopping support to key activities of Development Strategy and Advocacy Unit.
- Assist in translation of documents and during meeting for international staff.
- Provide other support and assistance, including preparation of documents and organizing meetings.
- Assist in the liaising with UNDP partners from the government and CSOs.

Qualifications et expériences requises
- Current enrolment in a masters or equivalent degree in Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Political Sciences, Development Studies or related field;
- Demonstrable skills in analytical thinking, communication, and research;
- Good communication skills; speaking, writing and editing skills in English and Thai;
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of automated systems;
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressure within an international setting;
- Ability to perform a variety of administrative tasks.
