Devoirs et responsabilités
- Verify the accordance between the project document and the activities carried out;
- Carry out meetings with all the involved parties so as to verify the development of the activities and the impact of the funded programme;
- Verify that the Regulation of the Observation and Juvenile Rehabilitation Centre for minors at risk and in conflict with law has been drafted with the support of all partners;
- Validate the consolidation of the database on minors at risk and in conflict with the law;
- Verify the setting up of transitional rooms for the Ministry of Interior as well as all the preparatory work;
- Evaluate the selection of two nongovernmental structures for the reception of minors in conflict with the law under the responsibility of the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs;
- Verify the equipping of the General Attorney’s Office for minors at risk and in conflict with the law;
- Verify MoU with INEFP and effectiveness of training of minors in different vocational trainings;
- Verify the organization of the trainings to judges, prosecutors and law enforcement officials of Maputo and provinces as well as the training modules developed;
- Verify that two Information Points have been rehabilitated and are functioning;
- Evaluate impact of community activities developed in the three bairros of reference;
- Verify and examine impact of the vocational training courses for minors and their reinsertion;
- Verify the provision of scholarships for 30 minors and their reinsertion into the communities;
- Verify the publication and distribution of information material, public awareness campaigns (media, cultural shows, seminars, website, etc.) and communication strategy;
- Provide inputs for a potential follow up of the programme.

- Deep knowledge of the subject matter;
- Knowledge in: Mozambican Justice Institutions, Government of Mozambique legislation, Mozambican Human Right Environment;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Conceptual and critical thinking and analytical skills;
- Conversant in monitoring evaluation and/or social research methodologies;
- Speaks and writes clearly and effectively; listens to others, correctly interprets messages from others and responds appropriately; asks questions and is pro-active;
- Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
Qualifications et expériences requises
- Degree in Law or any other related qualification;
- Master Degree in good governance or any related subject is an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in the reform of justice preferably in governmental institutions;
- At least 2 years of experience in evaluating projects in good governance and access to justice, or any other related area,
- Previous experience in development of projects in the Sub-Saharan area, possibly Mozambique;
- Familiarity with the structure of the UN and its operational procedure is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of the Office software programmes (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Language:
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
