Deberes y responsabilidades
- Oversee the effective internal coordination within and between the UN Millennium Campaign technical team and partners including web developers and mobile partners;
- Develop a holistic plan for technical integration into the third phase of the MY World campaign with a particular focus on using data in accountability frameworks and increasing the use of the MY World dataset;
- Build and foster new technical partnerships directed toward increasing engagement of marginalized communities and phase three of the campaign;
- Oversee the creation of resources for increased and expanded use and understanding of the MY World data in policy and political spaces;
- To increase votes from some of the most marginalized communities using new and accessible technical platforms including mobile;
- Identify and broker new digital partnerships to strengthen and support implementation of online and digital strategy with a particular focus on mobile for development (M4D) and ICT4D;
- Work with the operations associate to manage and monitor the grants/contracts being outsourced to technical partners;
- Input when necessary into analytical reports and papers ensuring the MY World data is most effectively utilized to inform the global discussion on post-2015;
- To assist in the maintenance of the MY World website, create engaging and explanatory visuals, videos and user experiences to be integrated into the main site, communications and social media;
- To regularly update team members on developments, to gather and respond to feedback in a regular and productive way;
- Coordinate routine maintenance tasks and database operations on MY World with technical teams;
- Ensure growth in traffic to the MY World site, and meaningful use of data resources through adequate tracking of the site and implementing sustainable solutions to the challenges encountered in that environment;
- On occasion to represent the campaign at relevant coordination meeting and events within the UN system, with partners and citizens directly;
- Provide general program support to the team as needed to deliver phase three of MY World.

Habilidades y experiencia requeridas
- A degree in international politics, international relations, development studies or other related field.
- Substantive experience in campaign mobilization working with multiple partners and stakeholders;
- Experience in partner / client relationship management, proven record of maximizing;
- Previous experience in advocacy work on international and cross-sector issues;
- Experience in planning and organizing including development of clear goals that are consistent with agreed strategies; identifies priority activities and assignments; allocates appropriate amount of time and resources for completing work; foresees risks and allows for contingencies when planning; monitors and adjusts plans and actions as necessary;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to team work and to working across disciplines;
- Experience and knowledge of MDGs Advocacy and Post-2015 development framework;
- Good knowledge of emerging mobile technologies and social media;
- Previous experience with campaigns especially those using innovative outreach and engagement methods;
- Demonstrated project experience, including ability to support the work of a large, high-profile project;
- Excellent drafting ability and communication skills, both oral and written;
- Knowledge of UNDP administration and financial procedures an advantage;
- Knowledge of United Nations system and good understanding of international development issues;

- Individual consultants will be evaluated based on a cumulative analysis taking into consideration the combination of the applicants’ qualifications and financial proposal;
- The award of the contract should be made to the individual consultant whose offer has been evaluated and determined as: Responsive/compliant/acceptable, and Having received the highest score out of a pre-determined set of weighted technical and financial criteria specific to the solicitation;
