Devoirs et responsabilités
- Collects, shares and files electronic and hard copies of programme/project documents and reports.
- Compiles and presents UNDP rules and regulations including programme strategies for effective programme/project management
- Creates projects in Atlas and prepares required annual budgets, adhoc budget revisions, revision of project awards and project status, determination of unutilized funds, operational and financial closure of projects.
- Provides guidance to Cluster staff on routine implementation and monitoring of programmes/projects.
- Ensues timely processing of travel, payments and mission programmes.
- Ensure timely processing of NIM Advance payments, financial reports and asset inventories for various programmes/projects.
- Compiles and presents information for audit of NIM Programmes/projects, supports implementation of audit recommendations and reporting on the same.
- Reviews NEX projects Financial Reports; prepares non-PO vouchers for development projects.
- Maintains the internal expenditures control system which ensures that vouchers processed are matched and completed; transactions are correctly recorded and posted in Atlas.
- Ensures timely corrective actions on un-posted vouchers, including the vouchers with budget check errors, match exceptions, unapproved vouchers.
- Creates requisitions in Atlas for development projects; registers of goods receipt in Atlas.
- Makes budget check for requisitions, POs and vouchers.
- Analyses information on UNDP-Donor agreements and preparation of donor’s profile.
- Tracks and documents reporting on mobilized resources in line with donor requirements.
- Reviews contributions agreement, manages contributions in Atlas, tracks disbursement of donor resources.
- Organizes trainings for the operations/ projects staff on programme.
- Synthesizes lessons learnt and best practices in programme management.
- Makes sound contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice related to programme focus areas for Inclusive Growth and Development Cluster

Qualifications et expériences requises
- Malawi School Certificate of Education or O level, preferably with specialized certification in Accounting and Finance. University Degree in Business or Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences and Social Sciences would be desirable, but it is not a requirement.
- 5 to 6 years of progressively responsible administrative or programme experience is required at the national or international level. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems.
