The overall objective of the EU/UNDP Project 00084888 Capacity Development to Support Implementation of Public-Private Partnership in Belarus is to increase the capacity of the public and private sectors, the academic community and civil society in the public-private partnership (PPP) process, with a view to promote, develop, deliver, operate and manage public-private partnership projects for infrastructure development. The National PPP Unit in conjunction with the Project facilitated the selection of the list of prioritized pilot PPP projects, which was approved by the Interministerial Infrastructure Coordination board. The primary focus was on the projects in the spheres with the most acute infrastructure issues. One of the pilot PPP projects is the Reconstruction of complex of buildings of health care facility “City clinical hospital ?3? in Grodno under “Grodno regional clinical Oncology clinic” (as a separate legal entity). The contractor will build the work based on the existing Appraisal prepared for this project by the international experts of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (to be provided to the contractor prior to the commencement of work).
