The intern will be operating as part of the UNODC Regional Office for West and Central Africa (ROSEN), under the general guidance of the Research/Analyst for West and Central Africa. She/he will assist the latter in the monitoring and trends in the area of drugs, crime and terrorism in West and Central Africa, as well as for the preparation of analytical studies and threat assessments on the matter.
Part of the research is the analysis of linkages between drug/crime issues and economic development, security and governance, using relevant data.
This post is located in the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office for West and Central Africa in Dakar, Senegal (ROSEN). Other part of the research is on the analysis and linkages between drug/crime issues and economic development, security and governance.
