Background

About Crowdfunding Academy

Crowdfunding Academy is a non-formal educational programme on developing crowdfunding campaigns aimed for training cooperatives, municipalities and cities, start-up companies, entrepreneurs, craftsmen and all citizens with interesting and innovative projects. Organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Croatia, social enterprise BRODOTO and Green Energy Cooperative (ZEZ), the first Crowdfunding Academy took place in spring of 2015 in Zagreb/Croatia with 13 participating teams. Following the success of the Academy in Zagreb, last autumn 11 projects from 10 developing countries around the world got the same opportunity as the teams in Zagreb while participating at the Global Crowdfunding Academy which took place last December in Istanbul.
