Competencies

III. Competencies and special skills requirement:

Have previous experience in big data for development or humanitarian action, for instance: research experience in big data for development including big data for official statistics, financial data for sustainable development, mobile data for humanitarian action.
Fair experience in the analysis of locational data and geo-temporal data.
Fair knowledge on statistics and statistical analysis.
Good understanding on Big data and Development Context.
Hands-on skills with software and tools for data mining, data analytics, data modelling, and data visualization.
Fair working experience with open-source software and with multiple organizations
Good skills for written and verbal English.

Required Skills and Experience

I. Academic Qualifications:

Minimum of master degree from all discipline with relevant research experiences in data analysis.

II. Years of experience:

Minimum of 2 years (Master) or 4 years (Bachelor) (of working experience in data collection, analytics and modelling experience for real world phenomenon.
