Duties and Responsibilities

The consultant will identify, plan and support implementation of the private sector investments into the initiatives related to the four SDG Accelerator Areas in Belarus. Please see the detailed Terms of Reference attached.

Competencies

  • Confirmation of at least 5 successfully implemented complex tender procedures, including preparation and analysis of tender documents;
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), confirmed by documents on completion of courses or an excerpt from the university diploma or similar documents;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Fluency in Russian (and/or Belarusian);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Excellent negotiations skills;
  • Analytical, strategic, planning skills, ability to work with large volume of information (experience in drafting analytical reports will be an asset);
  • Proficient user of the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Required Skills and Experience

Academic Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration and related disciplines or at least 10 years of experience across the areas of business development and/or business relations (both local and international level), additional degrees, certificates in related fields is an advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years in coordination of projects in business development, economics, procurement and/or sales with at least 2 years in a managerial position;
  • Experience in market research, high-level negotiations, dealing with governmental institutions, incl. Ministries.
