Background

Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is implementing a project titled “Preparation of Third National Communication (TNC) and Other New Information to the UNFCCC” which will assist India in undertaking the preparation of Third National Communication to the Conference of Parties in accordance with the Convention and build capacity to fulfil its commitments to the Convention on a continuing basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Office Attendant is responsible for performing day to day administrative tasks. Mainly, he/she has to manage office supplies, equipment and furniture. He/she also has to manage documents and files of the Ministry.

  • To monitor the use of supplies, computers and equipment within the office
  • To monitor the external cleaners
  • To make and serve coffee and tea to guests and employees
  • To provide stationary to all employees working in office
  • To record documents in files as per the instructions of supervisors and managers
  • To collect parcels from couriers and distribute them to concerned person
  • To photo-copy and bind documents according to the requests of employees
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Competencies

Good communication skills – Basic knowledge of administrative procedures

Required Skills and Experience

Education: Atleast senior secondary.

Experience: Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in Ministry or Government departments is required at the similar level

Evaluation Method and Criteria
Interview.

Payment:

Salary INR 20,000/- per month
