These relationships encompass a wide range and number of key constituencies and development partners, that includes programme countries, existing and prospective donor countries/emerging economic powers, multilateral institutions such as the IFIs, the European Commission, civil society, the private sector, foundations, academia and think tanks, the wider UN system, various UN inter-governmental bodies, as well as global, regional and national media.

Within BERA, the Communications Group leads and manages external communications through strategy, media, digital communications, marketing, branding and global storytelling. The Marketing and Outreach Team in the Communications Group creates marketing products and resources to improve UNDP’s communications, ensuring that messages resonate and gather support from audiences that span from government decision-makers to the general public. The team also produces UNDP’s flagship corporate products such as the Illustrated Annual Report and the Funding Compendium. It also manages the UNDP Shop (online).
