L’Algérie a signé la Convention-cadre des Nations Unies sur les changements climatiques (CCNUCC) en juin 1992 et l’a ratifié en juin 1993. Elle s’est acquittée de ses obligations au titre de l’article 12 de la CCNUCC, en soumettant deux communications nationales, l’une en 2001 et l’autre en 2010.

Duties and Responsibilities |
|
L’expert national en Système d'inventaire de gaz à effet de serre (GES) et de systèmes mesure, notification et vérification (MRV), recruté pour le Projet et placé sous l’autorité de l’Analyste au programme PNUD et du Directeur National du Projet, travaillera en étroite collaboration avec le Coordonnateur national et les autres d’experts (internationaux et nationaux) recrutés dans le cadre du projet.
