UN Women is currently undertaking an evaluation of its Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) work in the West and Central Africa region. The main purpose of this regional evaluation is to contribute to enhancing UN Women’s approach to women´s economic empowerment in West and Central Africa. This thematic evaluation will aim to assess the relationships between the various strategies and actual changes in women’s lives. It will identify good practices and contribute to organizational learning in the area of WEE (at the regional and corporate levels) to inform future programming in the SP 2022-2025 (WEE strategies and signature interventions).
