Unit/Project Background
Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Partnerships Specialist, the intern will assist the National Committees (NC) team in programme and knowledge management with the 13 National Committees. A work plan with achievements for the duration of the Internship and learning opportunities will be agreed upon. This internship will be for up to six months.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to development of the National Committees portfolio and contribute to the overall implementation of the National Committees Strategy.
  • Provide support on the preparation and management of the sharepoint webpage on National Committees.
  • Assist in knowledge extraction, analysis and documentation of results/lessons learned, ensuring that knowledge-sharing and content management is in line with guidelines and performed using corporate tools.
  • Support the management of the extranet and updating of the National Committees webpage on share point.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, attention to spelling and ability to follow style guides.
  • Fluency in English. Preference will be given to candidates also fluent in French and/or Spanish.

Education

  • The intern must have studied International Relations, Political Science, Communications or other similar subject at the university level.
  • The intern must either be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher), enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent) or has graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation.

Language:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English are required; Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is preferred.
