UNDP individual contractors are expected to a) provide high quality simultaneous interpretation and translations in accordance with UN terminology guidelines b) provide high quality edited documents ensuring language fluency, accuracy, clarity and precision. Under the supervision of the Head of the Rule of Law, Security and Human Rights team (ROLSHR), the Individual Consultant will be responsible for simultaneous interpretation Spanish to/from English during the several events the unit has during the year and as needed. Regarding translation the consultant will be responsible for the translating/editing/revision/proofreading documents for the required language. Any UNDP unit can assign translation/editing requests to vendors under contract and expect high quality of work, as they have been duly vetted and evaluated.
