Under the overall guidance of the UN Women Country Representative a.i., the GiHA Specialist/Consultant will undertake the following duties and responsibilities, including but not strictly limited to: Policy guidance and technical advice to UN Women and humanitarian inter-agency coordination and response actors on GIHA in Myanmar
Capacity building on GiHA and support to gender-responsive localization in Women, Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), Myanmar Humanitarian Fund and Humanitarian Response Plan
Advocacy and knowledge building on GiHA
Participate in humanitarian interagency coordination structures and support coordination efforts on GiHA
Provide support to effective management of UN Women GiHA and Women, Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) portfolio
Perform other duties as deemed needed by UN Women. Expected deliverables:
This is a home-based assignment that does not require relocation to Myanmar. In case of ad-hoc need for missions to Myanmar or beyond, travel-related costs will be covered separately by UN Women. Payment schedule Payments will be made once a month upon the clearance of the supervisor of the monthly progress update report, reviewed and certified by the UN Women’s Country Representative a.i. and in accordance with UN Women policies and regulations.

Evaluation Applications will be evaluated based on the cumulative analysis.
A two-stage procedure is utilised in evaluating the applications, with evaluation of the technical application being completed prior to any price proposal being compared. Only the price proposal of the candidates who passed the minimum technical score of 70% of the obtainable score of 100 points in the technical qualification evaluation will be evaluated. Technical qualification evaluation criteria: The total number of points allocated for the technical qualification component is 100.
