- Design the structure of the contents, conceptualize and draft the key contents on the following pages of the web portal focusing on thematic sub-pages, including poverty and hunger, social protection and gender and macroeconomics, inclusive growth and globalization, green growth
- Write, edit, and oversee the preparation of a diverse range of internet-based products to promote UNDP’s vision and effectiveness on the web, including the project fact sheets, case studies, project updates
- Ensure content is up-to-date and presented in an accurate, and user-friendly manner that demonstrates the effectiveness of UNDP to key partners, donors, institutions, media and the general public
- Under the direction of UNDP, carry out web portal maintenance, adding as necessary, links, pages, text, video and audio files, photos and new sections based on the raw materials provided by the IGPR Team
- Produce copy and edit content and information for the portal, which will both inform and attract website visitors
- Identify the social media strategy and incorporate social media tools and options into the web portal to promote the contents and attract visitors
- Support IGPR team on knowledge products, including facilitating the publications through the APRC Knowledge Product Review and putting together the knowledge product report that includes the number of products produced, tracking the download and usage, and dissemination and advocacy results.

Qualifications et expériences requises
Eligibility:
- Current enrolment in a masters or equivalent degree in development communications, new media, journalisms, international development or related field
- Relevant experience in website maintenance and content management would be an advantage
- Demonstrable skills in analytical thinking, communication, and research
- Experience of producing publications for mass audiences
- Experience of non-for-profit organizations would be an advantage
- Knowledge of managing corporate communications (internal/external)
- Excellent web content writing and editing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- Excellent interactive and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Note that candidates that have graduated are not eligible for internship.

Interns’ Expenses:
- Interns are not financially remunerated by UNDP. All costs connected with an intern's participation in the Programme must be borne by: the nominating institution, related institution or government, which may provide the required financial assistance to its students; or the student, who will have to obtain financing for subsistence and make his/her own arrangements for travel (including to and from the office), visas, accommodation, etc.
- The purpose of the Internship Programme is not to lead to further employment with UNDP but to complement an intern’s studies. Therefore, there should be no expectation of employment at the end of an internship.
