Historique

UN In Sudan is conducting the Hardship Survey, which needs to be completed in the month of March 2018, including submitting of survey report to the International Civil Service Commission.

Devoirs et responsabilités

The Consultant should be able to visit 7 hospitals as well as pharmacies as identified in this TOR, and provide comprehensive information guided by the designed questionnaire. Photos of the different Units in the Hospitals should be provided. The Hospitals to be visited are:

Royal Care Hospital
Fedail Hospital
Aliaa Hospital
Garash Hospital
Al Saha Hospital
Doctor’s Clinic
Imperial Hospital

Pharmacies should not be less (if not more) than 7, 5 in Khartoum, 3 in Omdurman and 2 in Khartoum North. Consultant should explore the availability, different brands and prices of medicines used for acute and chronic Diseases. This should include drugs used for children and adults.

Qualifications et expériences requises

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Hospital Administration or General Administration.

Experiences

Five years of experience in Hospital Administration or a similar Field;
Proven track record in survey, data collection, tabulation, interpretation and presentation;
Ability to engage with people and persuade them to offer the sought information in relatively short time;
Flexible to work beyond the normal working hours and meet the tight timeline;
Ability to screen the information for accuracy and reliability before reporting (verbally or in writing);
Ability to write a report and present the required information succinctly and persuasively;
Understands and respects UN’s core value and is ready to work with people from diverse background.

Language

Fluency in English language, knowledge of Arabic language is an asset but not require.
