UNDP works in about 170 countries, supporting countries' efforts to achieve the new Sustainable Development Goals, which will guide global development priorities through 2030. The key 2030 Agenda principle of leaving no one behind and stamping out inequality is at the core of everything we do.

The Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific [RBAP] established the Bangkok Regional Hub [BRH] as well as the multi-disciplinary Pacific Centre in Suva with a focus on the Pacific Islands. The Regional Hub aims to provide UNDP Country Offices in Asia and the Pacific with easy access to knowledge through high quality advisory services and to build partnerships and promote regional capacity building initiatives, which allow UNDP, governments and other development partners to identify, create and share knowledge relevant to solving urgent development challenges.

To support the operational work of BRH and UNDP Thailand Country Office, the Transactional Services Team provides services in finance, procurement, human resources management, ICT and other administrative areas. The team serves a client base of over 250 Bangkok-based colleagues and additionally those of other UN agencies which UNDP supports administratively.  Based on periodic swings in transactional volume, there is opportunity for internships if suitably qualified candidates wish to gain experience in administrative functions.
