Devoirs et responsabilités

  • To assist pilot cities of the Project (Polotsk and Novopolotsk) in elaboration of the joint urban mobility plan (SUMP);
  • To provide support in the development of urban mobility plans in Belarus.

Compétences

Language skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken English that is proved by diplomas, sample reports, references or similar;

  • Knowledge of written and spoken Russian is an asset.

Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of the state-of-the-art approaches and best international and European practices on the topic of sustainable transport and urban mobility, practical applications of approaches and techniques of sustainable transport and urban mobility proved by at least 5 relevant publications and/or at least 5 evidences in professional experience records;

  • Strong report writing skills (to be proved by examples of the reports);

  • Strong presentation skills (which includes graphs, pictures, diagrams, figures and other illustrative tools to enhance the presentation quality) that is proved by diplomas, references or examples of the presentations.


Qualifications et expériences requises

Academic Qualifications/Education:

  • Advanced university degree (at least the Master level) in any of the following fields: road traffic engineering, public transport planning, sustainable transport planning, road safety, intelligent transport system or other relevant to the field of sustainable transport development. PhD degree (or equivalent) is preferable and will be considered as an asset.

    Professional Experience:

  • At least 5 years of practical experience (consultancy, development, design) in the field of sustainable urban transport and mobility. Working experience in Belarus and/or any of the CIS countries is an asset;

  • Practical experience in performing at least 2 similar assignments in international/national projects;

  • Working experience within international team.
