Within the UNDP Sudan Country Office, the Strategic Planning, Partnerships & Communication Unit (SPPC) supports CO Senior Management in the development of innovative substance-driven partnerships, ensures linkages between strategy and programme implementation, ensures overall operational and programmatic compliance, and monitors programme effectiveness & operational efficiency. As an essential part of SPPC, the Partnerships and Communication Team ensures a strategic, substance-driven and coherent approach to outreach and partnerships, and creates a meaningful UNDP image. The team collaborates closely with the Strategic Advisory and Programme Support Team and the Programme Units in order to establish linkages between the overall strategy, the programme achievements and external communications and partnership building.

Devoirs et responsabilités

  • Internship Scope of Work
  1. To provide support in terms of establishing and developing of CO digital library, assist with events coordination, events management, and supporting corporate outreach, venue management and facilitate public interventions;

  2. To provide support in the identification the promotional items and facilitate distribution processes among our partners and counterparts;

  3. To support the documentation and maintenance of the data in the current work plans and reports, assist in data quality check;

  4. To provide support to any other functions coming to the unit.

  • Institutional management:

The internship will be supervised and guided by SPPC team. Each deliverable requires close communication and coordination with SPPC team members, including feedback on drafted products and clearance.

Qualifications et expériences requises

  • Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) in Audio-visual Communication, Visual Arts, Development, International Relations, Politics, Peace Building or another relevant field;

  • Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme

          (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent);

  • Have graduated with a university degree (as defined above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.

  • Knowledge of and/or interest in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, After Effects and Photoshop video and photo editing soft-wares;

  • Excellent level of Arabic and English languages.

  • Desirable: Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
