The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Office of Information Technology and Management (ITM) is the organization’s primary provider of high-quality products of ICT systems and Green Energy services to a global network of 155+ country offices and UNDP partners worldwide.
The mission of ITM is to develop modern-age Smart Facilities which guarantees efficient, innovative and sustainable of technologies for UN facilities, and consistency with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are committed to offer a framework of best practices, and to deliver simple-to-use, and standards-based support tools, to allow innovation to flourish throughout the organization.
Our primary motivations are to accompany the transition to greener technologies and to increase connectivity in challenging locations, in order to leave no one behind. More particularly, we are actively participating to Covid-19 Crisis Response, as Covid-19 has increased the need for digital collaboration and connectivity. Under the overall guidance of the Cloud Infrastructure Services unit manager, Cloud Services specialist is to provide technical support for Cloud-based services for the UNDP business units. The incumbent is required to follow UNDP standard operating procedures for information technology service deliveries.

Scope of Work
The ICT Specialist/Cloud Services must possess an exceptional business and technical skills and have a background or sufficient experience in designing, implementing and supporting Mobile Device Management or similar services and applications. The incumbent acts as a primary technical focal point for:
Cloud Platform and Service Administration
- Manage and provide support for Mobile Device Management solution, as well as enhance and improve the service
- Manage and provide support for Secure Print Release solution
- Implement and provide support for other Cloud-based solutions and services to address UNDP needs
- Use of Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and/or Google Cloud platforms
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Technical Assistance and guidance
- Provides assistance and guidance on the MDM solution
- Provides assistance and guidance on the Secure Print Release solution
- Provides assistance and guidance on other solutions as assigned
Knowledge Building and Sharing
- Identify the need, prepare and conduct training on services provided by Cloud Infrastructure Service unit
- Prepare, publish and maintain knowledge base for services provided by Cloud Infrastructure Services team
