Summary of Key Functions:
Support to implementation of HR strategies
Support to staff career management and career development
Support to UN-related surveys 
Support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing

1. Contribute to ensure implementation of HR strategies focusing on achievement of the following results:
-Contribute to full compliance of HR processes and records with UN/UNDP rules, regulations, policies, and strategies.

2. Collaborate to implement HR services focusing on achievement of the following results:
-Support to the implementation of recruitment and selection process including but not limited to: preparation of draft job descriptions, draft vacancy announcements, compiling matrixes, performing functions of Secretary/facilitator in interview panels, contribute in interviews panels including Service Contract’s process, drafting exams and tests. 
-Absence Processor and draft contracts (FTA, TA, SC) if necessary
-Support the tracking of all transactions related to positions, recruitment, benefits, earnings/deductions, retroactivity, recoveries, adjustments, and separations.
-Draft R& S, personnel administration and learning reports.
-Collection and organization background information for draft submissions to CRP and CAP.
-Update the CO rosters.
-Contribute to the maintenance of proper filing system for HR records and documents.
-Provide information for cost-recovery bills for HR services provided by UNDP to other Agencies.
-Support the process to create/update positions and the job evaluation and classification process;
-Support the creation/update of positions in Atlas, association of positions to chart fields (COAs), update of COA information SC), setting up vendor, performing the functions of Admin.HR Position Administrator and Absence Processor in Atlas.

-Preparation of contracts (fixed-term, ALD, SSAs, SCs) and recurring Pos in Atlas. Timely follow up with Finance staff on Global payroll issues
-Support the provision of information on benefits/entitlements to the International Staff and Experts. 
- Maintenance of the rosters including e-rosters.
-Support the validation of cost-recovery charges in Atlas for HR services provided by UNDP to other Agencies. 
-Support the provision of background information and maintenance of the related data acting as Secretary of CRG
-Organization of trainings 
- Participation in preparation of Whole Office Learning plan and individual learning plans in consultation with the Senior -Management, HR Analyst and Learning Manager.


3. Ensures conduct of UN-related surveys focusing on achievement of the following results:
-Collaborate for collection of information for comprehensive and interim local salary, LSSC, hardship, and place-to-place surveys.

4. Supports knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the CO focusing on achievement of the following results:
-Contribution to knowledge networks and communities of practice.

Impact of Results
The key results have an impact on the execution of the CO HR services in terms of quality and accuracy of work completed. Accurate data entry and presentation of financial information and client-oriented approach enhances UNDP capability in the HR management.

Habilidades y experiencia requeridas

Education:
Secondary Education.
University Degree in HR, Business, Psychology or Public Administration would be desirable.

Experience:
2 years of relevant and progressively responsible HR experience is required at the national or international level. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and experience in handling of web based management systems.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in Portuguese and Working Knowledge in English are required.

The candidate must have Brazilian Nationality or be legally authorized to work in the country
