Antecedentes

The internal UN Women Programme and Project Management training has been designed by the UN Women Programme Division to respond to the implementation challenges in UN Women’s programmes and projects, building on existing internal knowledge, best practices and lessons learned, combining them with international tools and practices from different Project Management approaches.

In order to ensure efficient decisions and effective investment in setting up the training, and to maximize the value for UN Women’s programme and project management, a Pilot of the training took place in the second quarter of the year in the Europe and Central Asia Regional Office. The Pilot has enabled Programme Division to test the design of the full-scale experiment (modules, time, cost, risks) and to review the modules of the training incorporating feedback and lessons learned received from the participants. The rollout of the training in two other regions is expected during the third quarter of the year and the consultant will support in this phase.
