Duties and Responsibilities

Scope of Work:

The service provider chosen for this assignment will undertake the following tasks for the SDG Localization project and the Thailand Policy Lab initiative:

SDG Localization:

  • Conduct SDG data mapping of the UNDP programme for internal use within UNDP
  • Conduct SDG data mapping against the UNDP programme and within 15 pilot provinces
  • Support and provide advice on data analysis of the production of SDG Profile data for the 15 pilot provinces

Thailand Policy Lab:

  • Conduct data analytics and create data visualizations focusing on population planning project
  • Conduct data analytics and create data visualizations related to youth mental health project

Knowledge Management of Country Office

  • Conduct data analysis and create data visualizations to support knowledge management to organize and transfer tacit knowledge from Country Office’s projects

Competencies

Competencies and Experience:

  • Proven experience in data management, data module design, big data, cloud services, with minimum 1 years of professional experience in data analytics
  • Demonstrated proven experience in analyzing SDGs in the context of Thailand by providing work samples related to this topic
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge on data analytics tools including Excel, Google Sheet, Power BI, Looker Studio by providing samples of previous works using these tools
  • Experiences in working with international organizations, particularly UNDP, would be an advantage

 

Required Skills and Experience

Academic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in economics, political sciences, social science, business development, or related field
  • Data analytics certificate is preferable

Language:

  • Thai and English (technical proficiency)
