Background
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the Supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator of UNDP China, the intern will be dedicated to the M&E functions of UNDP China Country Office.
Core Responsibilities:
- Timely track with projects, including Annual Work Plan, Quarterly Report, Annual Report, etc.
- Assist with the implementation of the IRRF in the project portfolio and the development of indicators for new projects;
- Quality control of project work plans and reports;
- Collect information and support preparation of IWP, ROAR, CO M&E matrix as well as other CO planning and reporting documents;
- Undertake other tasks as directed by senior management.
Competencies
- Excellent communication skills (English and Chinese) and writing skills in English;
- Motivated to learn, attentive to details, and excellent multi-tasking skills;
- Strong knowledge and skills of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient with VBA is an additional preference
Required Skills and Experience
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Social Sciences, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Management or a related field; demonstrated interests in international development and M&E;
- Experience with logic model design, program evaluation, financial auditing would be highly desirable.
