Under the guidance and supervision of the Programme Support Unit Team Leader and direct supervisor, the Human Resources Assistant support in filing and preparation of UN Board of Auditor for UNDP Country Office. The HR Assistant promotes a collaborative, client-oriented approach and supports to the effective and efficient HR administrative process. The HR Assistant works in close collaboration with the HR team, operations, programme and projects' staff in the CO for the preparation of UNBOA Audit and information exchange. The HR Assistant will in particular be responsible for the following duties:

 

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Support to HR unit in filing the HR documents especially recruitments documents from Change Management Process;

* Collecting and provision of required information to the management and the HR team with regards to the audit preparations

* Input and tracking of all transactions related to recruitment process and archiving the recruitment documents;

* Maintenance and archiving the leave record cards for the office;

* Support in producing the report such as staffing report, Performance Management completion report, mandatory online trainings courses completion report

* Collecting the information of staff contract extension, filing of the employment contracts and separation documents

* Support in uploading audit documents in the sharepoint

* Other tasks required for the UNBOA audit preparations.

Results Expected:

The key results have an impact on the overall execution of the CO HR audit preparation. Accurate analysis and presentation of the information ensures proper filing and compilation of the documents for HR unit.

Required Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

Education:

* Secondary education or University Degree in HR, Business or Public Administration would be desirable, but it is not a requirement.

Experience:

* 2-4 years of progressively responsible HR and/or administrative experience is required at the national or international level.

* Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc)

* Experience in handling of web based management systems is an asset.

 

Criteria for Selection of Offer

The basis for evaluating offers will be undertaken via a combined scoring method, in which the qualifications and description will be weighted 70% and combined with the price offer which will be weighted at 30%.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of progressively responsible HR and/or administrative experience is required at the national or international level. (20 points)

  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) (10 points)

  • Experience in handling of web based management systems is an asset. (10 points)

Language Requirements:

  • Good command of English and Burmese is required. (10 points)
