Office/Unit/Project Description

The Private Sector in Papua New Guinea is playing an increasingly important role in shaping public dialogue and policy settings on a range of social and economic issues. The Country Office is now seeking to deepen its engagement with the sector as its establishes a number of programmes that will support women’s enterprises in Port Moresby and Lae under the Rapid Response Facility, and a second project that supports youth through innovation hubs in Bougainville that will create opportunities to foster start-ups and connect young entrepreneurs to private investment.
