Scope of Work

The activities of this consultancy will be undertaken under the overall strategic guidance and direction of Governance, Peace and Resilience Programme Manager, and with day-to-day reporting to the Programme Analyst for Governance and Women, Peace and Security. The consultant will also work with government representatives at National and Sub-National level, civil society, and other relevant stakeholders.

The consultant will undertake the following tasks:

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities

Task 1: Conduct a Desk Review and Submit an Inception Report including Methodology, Tools and Work Plan

Task 2: Facilitate Consultation Meetings/Workshops with Key Stakeholders

Task 3: Develop Sectoral-Thematic Technical Guidelines for GRPB 

Task 4. Facilitate Training of Trainers (ToT) and Capacity Building Workshops

Task 5. Prepare and Submit a Final Report

Duration of the assignment

The duration of the assignment will be from 1 November 2024 until 30 April 2025

Expected Deliverables

The final deliverable is a well-developed document in Microsoft Word format and meets UN Women and MOWECP quality standards. The final document of Sectoral-Thematic of Technical Guidelines and the narrative report are to be written in Bahasa Indonesia (in electronic and/or hardcopy) which will be translated into English by UN Women. In regard with the copyright, all materials or documents results from this consultancy will remain as the property of UN Women and Government Partners.

Submission of the following documents: i) Initial Draft of a Concept Note on the future GRB interventions in Indonesia, ii) Initial draft of Technical Guidelines on Sectoral-Thematic of GRPB incorporating inputs from consultation meetings.

Submission of Finalized concept note on the future GRB interventions in Indonesia through UN Women programming.

 

      3 February 2025

Submission of report on the implementation of ToT/Capacity Building workshops and other technical supports provided, covering the methodology, participants mapping, timeline, venue, facilitation guideline, pre/post-test results.

 

       3 March 2025

Submission of:

  1. Finalized Technical Guidelines incorporating inputs from consultation meetings and UN Women
  2. A comprehensive narrative report of the consultancy activities that were rolled out including the technical support provided, with the annexes such as attendance lists, minutes of meetings, and survey/questionnaire forms, if applicable. This report should also include results and recommendations for UN Women’s future interventions.

Upon receipt of the deliverables and prior to the payment, the deliverables and related reports and documents will be reviewed and approved by UN Women. The period of review is one week after receipt. Inputs
